About us

INDIA The most populous democracy in the world! The very mention of India brings images of rich culture, traditions and FOOD to mind.As a land that has experienced extensive immigration and intermingling through many millennia, the Indian subcontinent has benefited from numerous food influences. The diverse climate in the region, ranging from deep tropical to alpine, has also helped considerably broaden the set of ingredients readily available to the many schools of cookery in India. Indian Food has 6 different flavours – sweet, salty, bitter, sour, astringent and spicy. A proper Indian meal is a perfect balance of these flavours – with the accent being on one or two.

CANBERRA, known as Ngunnawal country to the Indigenous people of the region, was officially named the capital of Australia on 12 March 1913. Apart from iconic national attractions and breathtaking adventures in the great outdoors, from pristine beaches to snow capped mountains all within reach – Canberra also boasts of world-class wining and dining options. With a huge diplomatic community that calls Canberra home the demand for cuisines of the world is well supported with good quality restaurants serving authentic food!
